Old & New

This may only resonate with some, but it’s an idea I return to often.

I tend to classify people in my life, consciously and subconsciously, as “old souls” or “new souls”.

The distinction is not fixed; it’s a conditional spectrum, swayed by things like upbringing and environment.

The old move with an internal blueprint, guided by intuition, environment, and subconscious wisdom.

The new move lightly, guided by what they can see, feel, and mirror - forming identity and depth through surface experience.

The concept is something I like to remind myself of in order to navigate relationships graciously, because depth and awareness arrive on an uncontrolled timeline.
